Re: As Cast shelf in the Ruger Curio
Troy, you and Taryn never cease to totally amaze me. You with your collecting abilities and Taryn with her wood working vision/skills. I had a chance to get a cast hanger of Six series frames, but I was new to collecting and stupid me didn't realize the value and let them go to someone else.

Re: How do we improve the ROCS forum?
06dilly, Tom, I understaqnd your feelings. When I got into serious collecting (and that was around 2005), I had next to none. Now, I was a bit different in that I was collecting DA Rugers but EVERYONE welcomed me in, not as a newcomer, but as a Ruger collector. I was convinced by several members to ...

ROCS at Ohio Gun Collectors Association
ROCS gets invited by the Ohio Gun Collectors Association (OGCA) to one of their meetings/shows every year. They do not have to invite us but they do because we normally have a lot of good Ruger displays to show the public. The OGCA Show this year is August 8 and 9 with setup on Aug 7. Lee Sundermeie...

Re: Stopped at the PAWN SHOP....
Rod, Your FFL probably has all the equipment to do that, I just can't, at this time, justify the cost of getting everything plus the yearly update costs. For a good size FFL/SOT this really can boost sales. I do not disagree with your last sentence, HOWEVER, what other accessories for a firearm do y...

Re: Stopped at the PAWN SHOP....
Actually, once you get registered on eForms, get digital fingerprints and the .jpg passport photos it goes pretty quickly especially for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th.... :D And once you're registered you can then easily do the application to buy an NFA item, build an NFA item (SBR, suppressor, etc,) transfer a...

Re: Stopped at the PAWN SHOP....
BUYING A SUPPRESSOR (SILENCER) 1. First you must purchase a silencer (suppressor). 1a. Check with your local FFL and see if they carry/handle suppressors, if you know what you want and they don’t have it, they can probably order it from one of their distributors. 1b. You can also buy many suppressor...

Re: Bit of SA help please
Troy, thanks a lot for the info. I was going to do the filter when I went on to GB today. With what I had found other palces I told my customer to tell his dad probably $550 to $700. Even though I am a DA guy, I was actually thinking of making an offer on one as I don't have a Vaquero (Old or New) i...

Re: Bit of SA help please
I went there (GB) in the beginning but most all seemed to be new models that were 0 bids and had be relist a number of times. But I probably need to check there weekly to see if anything pops up.
