Thanks Don, I knew about the lawsuit but was never clear on who came first with the stainless.
It is my understanding that that Bill didn't dislike Harry, which sounds curious, he just didn't want him knocking off his guns. Do you know anything about their relationship?

I have heard this story both ways. Did AMT announce their Lightning pistol before Ruger announced a stainless Mark II, or vice versa?

If all of those photos were part of the same group, I would definitely say February/March 1956. The reason is, the tri color Lightweight is photo'd.
