Re: AMT Lightning, who was first?

Thanks Don, I knew about the lawsuit but was never clear on who came first with the stainless.
It is my understanding that that Bill didn't dislike Harry, which sounds curious, he just didn't want him knocking off his guns. Do you know anything about their relationship?
thanks

AMT Lightning, who was first?

thanks

First aftermarket mag for 10/22?

Was this the first aftermarket magazine made for the 10/22? As my memory serves they were bought out by Butler Creek.

10/22 Red White and Blue laminate stock Prototype?

I bought this used off EBAY in 2012 for $45.00 advertised as an "estate" find. I saw another identical one sell on EBAY about 4 years later. I thought it had to be something when it was just the one but after I saw another... It is not a perfect match to the early production laminated &quo...

Mugs

I thought I knew but am trying to confirm what these were. I thought the one on the right was the first in the series of 70's employee gifts, but I forgot which year it would be. The one on the left I thought was made up by the RCA and the insert went with that one. What do you think? Is my memory h...

Re: Need help dating early photo group

If all of those photos were part of the same group, I would definitely say February/March 1956. The reason is, the tri color Lightweight is photo'd. By Febrary/March 1957 that would be an all blue Lightweight. So Feb/March 1956 is also when the Engraved Single-Six was introduced. Nice group of orig...
