findagrave.com lists his obit. I googled R. L. Wilson 2016 obituary California. He was born June 24, 1939....passed December 10, 2016....77 years old.

Don't know if this may help, but......I have Joe's Maximum, 600-16306, 8 numbers from the last one, 600-16314. It was roll marked on 6/19/84, manufactured and shipped in August of 1984 to the Gun Guardian Center-Houston in Stafford Texas and it was marked for Joe Bowman. Jack

Is there any one here that may have acquired a cut up "scrapped" Maximum between serial numbers 600-11577 and 600-13809? If you did please drop me a PM. I'm trying to determine when Ruger changed the frame identification roll mark. Thanks for looking, Jack.
