look in the bottom corners, there may be a manufacturing code that includes the year, maybe even month/year. like 1385 could be 1985, 13, the week oy the year, 9213 1992, i think ya get my drift...

Personally I would say not much of a premium for a 3 Digit, unless it's 100 or not much higher. Premiums for me lie in the single digit, of course, there can only be a max of ten of them (yes some models do have a zero (0) serial number, and two digit guns, there are only ninety (90) of them. This may be a stretch here, but, years ago, Roger Dorsett made and sold a table cover for displays. This fit an 8 foot table. I have two, Red, made out of a burlap type material, one embossed with the Ruger logo, the other with "Ruger" on it. I am looking for an additional one for an upcom...
