When I saw a photo of one of these drills years ago,,, I thought about how neat it was & how different over most it looked. Always looking for one,,, but as yet,,, I don't own one.

I find this type of paperwork very intriguing. Notice part of the printed info on the company mentions "Manufacturers of Ruger Automatic pistols" with a date of 6/30/47 as received, and a shipping date of 3/24/48.
All before the first pistol build of 1949.

Great stuff Don!
I too would love to find a copy of the book,,, but the pocket badge, with the patch really got my attention. I have Bill's pocket badge,,, & the patch is different. I need one like that for my collection!
