It's heartbreaking to hear of ANY negligent discharge at any gun show. But knowing how strict (for safety) OGCA has been this is inexcusable by the 2 FORMER members. They BOTH knew better. I'm glad their membership has been revoked. But it's also very sad we've lost a good place to have our meetings...

The one I got from Todd Walthers was NOT marked as a Ruger one like I was led to believe.
There are differences in the marking plates.
I tried contacting Todd several times w/o him ever replying to discuss this issue.

After a very long trip via USPS,, the winch arrived today. The package showed heavy damage,, but the winch was there. It is NOT a Ruger marked one.

If you really want to learn a LOT about Rugers,, subscribe to "The Red Eagle News Exchange." Chad Hiddleson is the publisher,, and it's a quarterly booklet. But you can ALSO get a copy of his "Ruger Reference Guide" that will give you more details than you'd think were possible. ...
