What would have been nice on the No 1 anniversary high grade is features that were inherent to the non prefix models.... like the unique checkering pattern. any Ruger collectors who have any knowledge re Ruger pistols. I came up with a seemingly rare 3-screw Ruger Blackhawk in 45 Colt caliber a few years ago. Serial # 45-033##. Manufactured in 1971. My Boddington 375 Ruger is one of the most accurate firearms I own. I have it sighted in for pretty close to 0 at 50 yards and 100 yards

This one has early checker pattern, lever pin without slot on right side but looks like the wood might have been salty causing some corrosion. Has a 22 inch barrel so probably a 1-S . I guess it was made in 1970. I was wondering if this was one of the <25 mentioned in http://www.classicsportingarms....
