I'm anxious to hear from anyone who actually buys one and installs it.
Have a couple original Rugers Ive found and passed up quite a few. Falcon made some of the best versions but they are gone I understand. Makes a Mini handy and portable. Why not?

Re: Factory Letters
All my Ruger letters (except one) have been researched and written by myself. ;) More complete and better detail that way! Seriously, in my experience, supporting payroll for a few historians with full access to every production and shipping record for multiple plants, and sending data to unknown cu...

Re: XGI
There is also the old story of WBR walking into the store of an old-time friend in Tucson, where he found three (or was it five?) XGI rifles right there for sale on the rack. Bill got pretty angry and gathered up all of them and unceremoniously carried the armful out to his car and dumped them in th...

Re: XGI
Yes, I had one on pre-order, would have been my black bear gun for the dark woods of the Adirondacks... Alas, it was beyond their engineering of the time. Sad. I had heard from good sources the oprod could not be made stiff enough without pulling the barrel off target. I bought a Winchester big bore...

Re: Ruger Prices
The "whatever a guy is willing to pay" view is also flawed in some cases. I had someone willing to give over $1000 for a 44Blackhawk once, only to find out he couldn't pass a NICS check anyway... Another experience had a buyer unwilling to spend over $350 for an as-new Security Six in unfi...

New here, old Ruger scrounger
New here! Had ten thousand posts over on the rugerforum.com, but I'm inactive there after two password attempts on a new device (plus their login/recaptcha feature has been nonfunctional for six months or more)! Getting older, so i hope to sell some (dozens) of Ruger firearms here and maybe t...
