Yes, 'kudos' to the staff and the authors nice job agin,,,,,,,and yes it was neat to see some of the "other" number 31 guns I don't have and the first one we passed on to the late Mr Flatgate years ago at Tulsa, brought back some nice memories, thank you Donnie

sounds like a plan, yes you can "jam" lock up, an action by short stroking or other "half a$$" stopping in the middle of the stream, or even dirt ,crude ,old dried up oil ( gunk" sticky springs and on and on,,yes taking it down a bit and working the action can and does help,...

Obviously cut ( shortened) and the front sight set back and remounted........
and the top strap filed down, the ears removed........

hope the "parts" you have are from THAT gun as any others, they may affect the timing, lock up and if you have a problem NOW, without the transfer bar 'safety' in place ,next time the gun may go bang..... a few things to look at , see "why" it did what it did.........safety first...

Greetings and to agree with the above post they appear to be Jay Scott grips with the black backing on them ,,,,,,, they should be marked on the back side as such...nice flatgate by the way
