Re: E Keith No 1

There are more than I was aware of. The Silver Medals are supposed to stay with the gun if ever sold, so maybe the owners of the other three can provide some information such as the dates.

Re: Ruger DA Convertible?

I stand corrected. Never say never when it comes to Rugers, Ruger has made a convertible. It was (or is) the REDHAWK. In 1970 (?) Ruger produced a Redhawk in 45LC and 45ACP using moon clips for Talo, one of there distributors. See the article in this months American Rifleman on page 66. If they are ...

Re: E Keith No 1

All the pictures are great, but seeing them in person, up close, and all together was sooo impressive. Winning the silver medal is extremely difficult. You not only have to have a very rare gun with historical importance, but you need all the providence to support your claim. To my knowledge this is...

Re: ROCS NRA DISPLAY & Flip booklet

The booklet on our web sight is awesome and the people that made it work should also be thanked. Putting together a display for the NRA show is a lot of work and $$$. We should all thank Lee and Tom for taking on the challenge! I hope as many as possible can come by and see the display in person. Th...

Re: Collecting Question - consecutive serial #'s

As stated earlier " You will get a lot of varying opinions" So I will add my 2 cents. Both COOGS & FLATTOP44 are correct, but as an OLD time collector I can only tell you as I, and many other collectors may. I am 99.9% certain that the only people interested in consecutive numbers woul...

Re: Ruger DA Convertible?

Minor007, Ruger produced several duel cylinder guns. I am only familiar with the Old Models, because that is what I collect. They had an extra cylinder for the .22 /.22mag., the .357mag./.38 /9mm, and the .45LC / .45ACP. No cylinder needed for the .44mag. / .44spacial. These are still produced today...

Re: 357 Flattop

I seen something like this at the Tulsa gun show a few years back. But it was for a .44 Flat Top. The interesting thing about it was there was a disassembled .44 Flat Top along side to match the picture. I believe Dale D. had it?
