Re: Ruger Wrangler

The frame looks like a machined solid billet of aluminum so that might account for the weight. I see it advertised at one retailer online for $190 shipped but they are out of stock. Should be interesting to see how this one works out. They may have a good market for it.

Re: Ruger Wrangler

I can see this showing up on Swamp People.... For someone that needs a .22 revolver for a trapline or to carry on an ATV where it could be subject to getting covered in mud or soaked this might be a good option. Getting this all scuffed and beat up would not be as bad as tearing up a pristine Bearca...

Chuck you come up with the most obscure items. I guess we could call you a "Rugerologist"... That is nicer than some things I have been called!

Man you could fall in a septic tank and come out with a $20 Gold Piece! Great score Chuck. Glad you did some trading to get something you really wanted.

Re: Canadian Centennial 10/22

I will trade you a Tim Hortons card, a bowl of poutine, a big jug of Quebec maple syrup, a whole loin of Canadian bacon, a genuine Toronto Maple Leafs puck with teethmarks from the fan it beaned, a set of Robertson drivers, tickets to the Canadian Ballet and 2 sacks of marbles. Seem like a fair offe...

Re: Great ideas for new displays

Charlie I think you are on to something! Not everyone can find a Red Eagle or a Flat Gate or any other early rare Ruger. TALO does have some very fine special editions. I have a 10/22 TALO International which is great. Perhaps I will include it in a future display.
