Re: LAST WEEK TO ORDER ROCS ENGRAVED SHOPKEEPER

Just curious; what will happen if 100 are not sold? Will we have a 0 - whatever number, that were sold?

Re: Update on Factory Letters

I have had two occasions when the information given was obviously incorrect. I contacted them and the problem was solved and a new letter arrived. I feel, however, that if we have to dissect each letter for accuracy then what are we getting for our money. One instance was a Bearcat that the 'letter'...

Re: White grips

The emblems are easy to insert in 'non-Ruger' grips. A 1/2" bradpoint drill, patience, and a wee bit of silicone sealant is all that is needed.

Re: ROCS. Bearcat

Fox Mike, that is exactly what it is and I do wish you luck. Let us know how you make out. FT44 Spoke with the lady that is in charge day to day and we worked out that the model number of the ROCS Bearcat shopkeeper AND the regular 'blued' version of the Shopkeeper WILL be added to the 'accepted' r...

Re: ROCS. Bearcat

$$ and FFL on the way tomorrow (Thursday). Now all I have to do is convince the 'powers that be' in the MD State Police that this is just a "modified" Bearcat and NOT a new model as such. Wish me luck! 'll be calling the nice lady tomorrow.

Thanks. As soon as I get the Journal and the information I'll send out a "petition" to the State Police.

Re: ROCS Report-Winter 2016

Do you happen to know the Ruger model number of the ROCS Bearcat? If it is different than any of the others I will need to file a 'petition' for it to be placed on Maryland's 'acceptable' handgun list. This process can take a while, as I have stated previously.

Re: Owners and Collectors

I can't say when I went from a Ruger owner to a Ruger collector. Like Big Old Boy, I just had guns to shoot and hunt with. Then I needed a specific gun to hunt a specific animal or for a specific situation. Excuses to not to have to face up to the truth. However, once the gun safe was full and I st...
