Don...do you know why the RCA stopped providing letters like the one dated in 1991. An actual manufacturing date and a shipping date are more interesting than just the month and year shipped?

I haven't requested a letter in about three years, but the last one I requested was for a Blackhawk 44 Magnum with a 10-inch barrel. Collectors need goals and finding consecutive serial numbers is one of them. I am lucky to have a pair of white box Super Blackhawks that shipped as a pair, but my main focus is on early 44 Magnums (those shipped in 1956).
