Good to have you join us, I might be biased but I feel the membership is well worth the cost. If you're into Rugers this is the group to be associated with, a great group of people that are very knowledgeable. Share some of your favorites with us.

Re: *UPDATE* Red Barn Print

The Red Barn has more character than any other gun factory, really gives the feeling of early roots. Glad you were able to locate one of Triggs prints, he was a true master of his art. Thanks for the the pieces, very nice.

Re: M77 284 Win

It was offered with a 22" light barrel early on and discontinued in 1973, according to Ronnie Burke serial number 13 was chambered in it. From the reference I've seen they were all flatbolts. I don't think they offered it again, maybe a special distributor order but don't know.

Glad to have you join us, showing off a fine looking Flattop as an introduction is the way to do it. You'll fit right in, were into just about anything to do with Ruger, I like a variety of there offerings.

Terry, that's a great addition to your collection, very cool when these oddballs show up, especially in that condition. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Ruger Lead Pencil

It's a neat pencil, they also made a black bolt action pen like it, I got a pair of them about 5 years ago.
