Re: Questions about posting items
From the peanut gallery... T Your situation exemplifies the common problem: collectors who don't plan on taking care of their collections! The only plan is apparently to let someone else take care of it! Sorry you're in that position. It IS a royal pita to try and dispose of a buddy's collection and...

Re: Rugers/Made in China?
Great documentation. I am confused a bit about the "Gas Type" designation - but then the communists do things on their own. I also dont recognize any non-Marushin TM or Ruger TM designation on the docs, so I am led to believe it would be an un-sanctioned copy of WBR's products. :evi...

Re: Pine Tree Casting plaques
I have one, but it is weathered (used?) condition, but it could be re-finished I suppose. If I recall they were produced at the Prescott plant when their foundry was operational? (not Pinetree) and intended for display or factory signage and outdoor bronze statues, name plates, etc. I have never hea...

Re: M77 RSI rear sights
I paid $60 awhile back, but it was perfect and as-new. I expect well under a benji today but I remember passing on an abused one - back when one could find such things at gun shows.

Re: Rainbow of guns
do you suppose a barreled action gets to the end of the line, and is seriously bummed to get a plain old birch stock?

Re: those Buckeye Blackhawks ??
 we are also bound by the reality of inflation... retailed for approximately $549 in 1986-87, that is @ $1290-1300 USD today. Soo... an ANIB (100%) example selling for less today would actually have LOST value! :? that just seems wrong. -and I did see those for much less just a few years ago. ...

those Buckeye Blackhawks ??
8-) and so I'm "down" to my last pair of Buckeye Blackhawks. probably the nicest non-matching pair... :| the last such pair brought a guy great joy and he walked away $1700 lighter. I wouldn't sell a pair for less. not in boxes, unturned etc. I was saving the last ones for a couple final m...

Re: Super Redhawk in .22 Hornet
I recall Taurus made a Raging Hornet, a large frame stainless da revolver in 22Hornet. 8 or 9 shots? it it originally came with their scope mount system and initially they sold as fast as they could make them. Ruger is late to the innovation party, but better late than never! 8-) Carry heavy, hit ha...
