I have now seen in person only two other of those very buckles and one pendant. Have even held one of the buckles but they are not in my collection. Can you dig into why they had the buckle commissioned? And please keep the photos coming!

Very nice! I too appreciate you sharing memories. Can you tell me what the numbers mean on the brassards which have them? Is it the year/number produced? If so, I have never seen that information on production numbers.

I did ask the Chief to co-author when it was previously suggested and he liked the idea. So far, I'd say 95% of the material is from him directly. Don offered me some great advice too on getting the project organized, started, and some things to think about on finalizing but I think I'm a little too...
