I do have Hank's book and he did a good job of putting info together on them. Other than it there's limited information out there, but that's what collecting is about. I know I can't compete with you Ty, you've got a few winners stashed in the patch door.

Rick, I believe that all the Government Contract MKIIIs had bull barrels. Though there wasn't many of them.

Rick, if I remember right there's 9 versions of the red eagle pistols. Pick up a copy of "Encyclopedia of Ruger Semi-Automatic Rimfire Pistols 1949-1992" by Chad Hiddleson, it's a great resource of information on them.

Don will be in Tulsa, might be able to locate you one. Going to get a copy of volume II from him there, looking forward to it. In my opinion Don's books are a must for a collector.
