Re: Accurizing an M77 .22 Hornet
Thanks for your comments, Bill. Finally got to the range to sight in the rifle/scope. That is a great scope but it mounts too far forward on this rifle to be comfortable and the duplex reticle covered the large diamond bullseye at 100 yds (the small diamond is 1"x1". I was a little rushed ...

Re: .327 Fed Mag long guns
That's a good point but Ruger seems to have embraced the 4-in-1 round in wheel guns because they offer it across five product lines; Blackhawk, Single Seven, SP, GP and LC (R&X). I think I also read that Federal collaborated with Ruger on the development. There seems to be a consensus (or maybe ...

Re: .327 Fed Mag long guns
Yep, seems like a no-brainer in a Marlin. Also seems like a good candidate for a rotary mag M77/.327 carbine. An RSI would Also be nice but probably unlikely since the .357 and .44 didn't get that treatment. Those Henrys look really nice and their reputation is excellent. Love the wood, brass and de...

Re: 327 pinto
Looks like 38-24005, in the link above, is also a 5.5 inch .327 Blackhawk. The seller and Ruger SN lookup call it a model 0356 shipped in 2013.

Re: Single six
Also definitely request a letter of authenticity. The frame looks like steel to me.

Re: U-Suffix Blue Red Label 20ga re-up
Thanks, Chad. Wow, that means it's a double-rare version of a scarce model. How many anomalies you reckon there are? I've wondered why the scratch in the forearm metal doesn't extend into the wood as it seems like it should. Would they have replaced the wood but not the metal in a refurbish? Maybe i...

Re: SSM4-FS Model 06515
I correct myself: I believe the BNV Sixes are all steel. I need one of those, now.
