Re: 3 digit
Seems cheap for the gun as shown. (early bolts and parts were replaced due to failures) The box is important, but incidental to the fact that this is the 166th gun that WBR built, the prototypes not withstanding. HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT IS THE CORRECT PHRASE HERE.....think about it.........

THE REALITY..........."THAT MAINSPRING THING"............long ago. Standing in a hot non air conditioned small desert workshop, mid July, Tucson.........wondering "what the hell have I done?" Resisting the strong urge for a tall Bacardi, I took a rather thin 2x2 block of hard oak...

Re: SPANISH EYE CANDY!!
GREAT GUN! GREAT EARLY RUGER!! Do we consider these early "Spanish" RSSE to be "samples"? Meaning there is a difference in the engraving patterns and none are signed? Was there not at least a theory that some or even all were done somewhere in the Basque community(s) where engrav...

Re: Ruger Super Blackhawk wood box
The blue lined box is, from what I see, a large frame(N) S&W box from the 70's. Would be a $200-300 box out in the big market, if the box is not marked up or damaged. The plastic forms are fragile and damage to them is also a detractor to value. The redlined box is for a standard frame Super Bla...
