Re: OGCA show next July, Who's going>
WELL!...........Thanks for the invite(s) and encouraging words! :) The manner in which winter seems to have set in, permanently(but nothing like Buffalo!), I will have lots of one man shows here at home and plenty of time to contemplate the trip next July. Could also use the time to figure out a pro...

Re: OGCA show next July, Who's going>
Have to admit, it would be a better plan than to drive to the Idaho show in Jan. The January traverse across NW Minn, North Dakota and Montana, in early January can be very dicey...............

Re: 2013 Ruger Display
Thank you for the kind and encouraging words and support. Part of the success in the completion was based upon the repro work that included copies of the letters I had (miraculously, I think) saved that told me the SN 28 gun was a prototype and never to leave the Ruger Master Collection. Additionall...

Re: Best Modern Handgun Display
Now that is pretty impressive! Way to go Mike! Look at the bark on those stags on the Agee RSS. Old stag winds my crank like a pretty gal did when I was much, much younger. ;) Bill, I understand. I'd be miles ahead, and have more "stuff", if I would have concentrated on Rugers back in 195...

Re: Rare 10/22 magazines
Charlie, for the record, in that same noted 1983 conversation with WBR, when I asked him diplomatically and politely about putting a formal Ruger Historian in place, like Colt's Huber and S&W's Jinks, he told me in language verbage that us collectors' parents were not married, (if you get the dr...

Re: Rare 10/22 magazines
Jack Behn, WBR's right hand man, ised to bring a few of the red and white magazines to the NRA Annual Meetings and I saw and held them back in the 1980's. He said no blue mags were ever made, thought there was a brief discussion(s) about a set of red, white and blue 10/22 mags for the 200th year pro...

Re: RSSE 1956
Appears to be a fine RSSE from my vantage point. Has there been an in-depth search/inquiry perhaps via Mike fifer's office to determine it's authenticity? Love the grip panels! Suspect it was a special piece, perhaps internal staff acquisition........Just sayin'
