The 256 is in single catagory but the 327 is a seven shot I have one , did not know about 44 and the 256 chambered in Blackhawk, do you know how many, also I have read that the new 10 mm can shoot 44 Russian, 38/40, john taffan has had one chambered for them.
The 10mm has a bullet diameter of .400" while the .44 Russian uses a .429" dimater bullet. That is a considerable difference. For an easily understood reference a standard hacksaw blade is .032" thick.
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...

To add my 2cents.
Bennett...The 44 Rusian was advertised in early 44 flat top ads. I believe it came be used in any 44 Blackhawk or Surer.
