Ruger Letters

Post by Marksman »

Hi all,
I submitted 16 letter requests on 3/1/2020 to Ruger. The check cashed 3/13/2020, I didn't receive the letters yet. Their website states that they reduced non-essential personnel due to the virus. Does anyone know if that includes the records area (not account receivable of course)?

I would give them another week in normal times! Considering what's going on you might have to wait another month. The good news is, they have always come through for me.

Yes, I agree. By the end of April they should be operating with full staff again.

No, not yet. That part of the operation probably does not have priority over production.
With current COVID 19 spikes I would guess things are in the same place as they were last April.
I need more letters but prefer to wait until I get the response to my March request.

I sent a letter request and check on May 12th. I received the letter last week around July 20th. I live in Connecticut and we have very few Covid cases compared to April.

That's great news, sounds like they are back in operation.

They have been all along, working remotely. There will be no info for items that require access to none computerized records like the older Ruger archives or shipping ledgers or the CT retail book.
They don't know yet when they will be able to go back to their offices.
