Mine is listed in my notes as a 1996 Christmas gift, Gold finish bottle opener/key ring with Ruger Logo center in small box.

I have one also and I think it might be the 1997 Christmas gift, my information says gold tone key fob, blue felt in box. The blue felt note is the reason I think it's the 1997. Either way it's '96 or '97.
