Lots of adds for guns and auctions leave you yearning for information.
This one speaks for itself, its all there in Black in White.
Just having some fun, Gene :?

1980 Ruger Standard 22LR Target Pistol, LNIB w/o Box, 9 rnd Mag, 6" Tapered Barrel, Fixed Sights EXC Condition

Description:
SALE PENDING: LNIB w/o Box, 1980 Ruger Standard Model 22LR Target Pistol. Has fixed sights while sister model(Mark I) has adjustable sights. This pistol is in 100% condition. There is not a blemish on the finish of the pistol or magazine. It appears to have been shot(or not) once and put away for the last 37 years(or 38). I shot one mag through it to verify functionality, cleaned and put away. Shiny bore with very pronounced lands. Please review all the photos and request more if needed. The barrel bore photo shows some dust in the muzzle. I have simple, honest layaway plans available upon request. DO NOT LET THIS ONE GET AWAY. It is in perfect condition and would make a collector piece OR a wonderful shooter. Cannot say enough about the condition with the age.

Yes Sir, I was thinking same....
Ron said, imagine this Gent behind the counter; I say imagine further me on the other side of the counter or worse on the phone stammering and trying to get my thoughts out in a constructive manner.

Ring Ring Ring,,, Hello WE B GUNS
Hhhhi do you have a 1980 Ruger Standard for Sale?
UH-HUH a 1980 Ruger Standard Model 22LR Target Pistol.
OOH OK is it LNIB"
Well its LNIB it has fixed sights while sister model(Mark I) has adjustable sights. This pistol is in 100% condition. There is not a blemish on the finish of the pistol or magazine. But no box.
Well I aaaapreciatte the comparison to the Mark I, I get the difference. Thank you for the clarification that its not a Mark I, but you said it was LNIB-but it has NO BOX???
Uh-Huh. :?
So if its LNIB its not been fired?
It appears to have been shot(or not) once and put away for the last 37 years(or 38). I shot one mag through it to verify functionality, cleaned and put away. It is in perfect condition and would make a collector piece OR a wonderful shooter. Cannot say enough about the condition with the age.
Ok I see, sounds jus jus just what I'm looking for. I'll take it.
