My ANiB MkII, 678 Target

Post by DenStinett »

Picked up this As New in Box, never fired MkII
I have always loved the style of this Model
It came with two (Factory sealed) Magazines
I added a few "upgrades":
A Volquartsen, VC2TT fully adjustable Target Trigger, giving it a nice 2.5# Trigger, with the slightest amount of Take-up and almost zero Overtravel
A Volquartsen, VC2BRB Extended Bolt Release
Brownell's, Allen Head Grip Screws
Holding a Hogue Rap-a-Round Finger Groove Rubber Grip
A Ruger, White Outlined Rear Sight Blade
A Ranch Products, Extended Magazine Release
And an EA Brown, Hammer Strut Support

Looks good! Ruger could have stopped with MK2 and I would have been perfectly happy.

DS,

Congrats on your MKII MK-678...very nice shooter. I have a 1978 MkI T-678, it's really sweet, but not NIB!

Now, if only the KMK-514's (my next slot to fill) would show themselves "For Sale" like the 678's ???

Yeah, I couldn't believe the guy had never shoot it
AND, he sold it at the (going) "used" price too !

That tapered Barrel is reminiscent of the P-08s
Ya gotta luv it !

Nice pistol. It aint a virgin anymore.
mall game in your path should hide now!

Just to start an argument, I prefer the 22/45 grip, sure woulda been great if Ruger had tried a steel 22/45 grip... :o

Again, very nice MkII.
