It's real! WM Ruger SR's MK I

Post by Marksman »

Hello All,
It's hard to hold back, I just won the auction for the nickel plated MK I owned by WM Ruger SR . You will find the gun pictured in R.L. Wilson's book 'Ruger & His Guns' on page 28 in the center. It is a sample gun and unfired. It is from the estate of William Ruger JR. An article in the ROCS Digest will be forthcoming. Mike

1 of 5 factory chrome plated Mark I Red Eagles.
The other 4 sn’s are listed in JD’s Vintage Years book.
Probably the buy of the decade Mike!!!

Woo Hoo and BOING!!! You hit it out of the park with this one! If I see it in person I promise not to drool on it. In a group that has a lot of very unique neat stuff this is among the best.
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...

Thanks everyone,
I am thrilled to have it. I will work on a nice display, as this is a very meaningful item from the Ruger family history. It is a symbol of what made Ruger great. Mike
