An engraved Ruger .22 Pistol (RST4), serial number 47698, was given to then Vice President Richard M. Nixon. The presentation was made in March of 1954 by Bill Ruger. Engraver unknown. Mother of pearl grip panels with a medallion in each side. This pistol is in the Nixon Library. A cleaning person dropped it and one of the grips is now broken.

That pistol looks like and is in the right serial number range to be a tapered ear. Donnie, do you know if It is?

Yes, it has a 2 piece bolt.
