I did get an email this morning that he is now ready to sell the gun and asked for my bid on it. I gave it to him and asked to let me know asap.
The P89M, I have a pristine blued one, was an accepted design and therefore there are more of them out there because of all that were made for the Chicago police. The prototype P89P was given to a few of the police but never went in to bigger production. From the beginning I have felt that there were more than 2 out there. When I google the P89P I see forum threads on this site and at Rugerforum.net. Same guy on both threads. I would love to have the P89P to go with my P89M but I am not going to pay more than what it is worth to me. We shall see. In the mean time I am looking for the P95DAO, basically the same gun. I already have a NIB P93DAO which is the same gun as the P89M.
