Hawkeye 28 is a big Hawkeye collector and maybe he is referring to his guns and he may be thinking of selling some. That is my take on what he is saying. So if you are looking for a Hawkeye contact Mike and find out .

A little late to this thread,,, but I figured I'd chime in a bit.

I own a pair of Hawks,, and one was already D&Ted,, so it's my shooter. (See the attached picture.)

One thing,,, if folks need ammo,,, a set of proper forming dies,, and a quantity of 357 brass can EASILY make you plenty to shoot. I know,,, as I have a bunch!
And keep your eyes peeled. At the OGCA show,, (ROCS Display weekend) this past weekend,,, a guy had a box full of some reloads, (about 150 maybe,) several boxes of once fired brass,, (about 8 boxes,) and about 3 boxes of new empty brass, and a set of reloading dies. All for $500.

Now,, for those who may not have the equipment/dies,,, I do. If someone wants some brass redone for the 256 out of their 357 brass,, I'll do it for the postage reimbursement.

Ok Condender,

I figure you owe me about two grand :o
NOW I have to buy a Hawkeye shooter, and resizing dies!!

Seriously,
Very cool information. I cut 223 brass and resize to 300 blackout, but
did not know a person could "make" 256 from 357. I will have to learn more.
And of course spend the cash....
Cheers,
JAY
