Engraved Flattop
Engraved Flattop
I good friend of mine (the late Frank Clark) engraved and gold inlaid this old Flattop for me in 1984. The carved ivory grips are from another friend K. Dennis Holland.

Beautiful work by talented friends. What a great way to to remember them as the years roll by.

Very nice looking flattop. How do the grips attach?

Re: Engraved Flattop
Clark did not like to work on aluminum. This is actually a Colt grip frame. I assume they are epoxied?? They have never been off. Good question.

Wow, that is a beauty, really like the gold inlay. Dennis can sure carve those ivories. Find Flattop.

Re: Engraved Flattop
Colt grip frame means/shows 2 pc(see screw at bottom of grip frame) and grips thusly fitted/secured internally . Doubt any "glue" involved........
