This looks like a smokin deal to me but the seller hates California so I thought someone here might be interested. The Micros look factory to me due to the way the front sight is attached - are they? Do they add a premium to the price? Please educate me.

I think the barrel has been cut on this one. I've not seen a 4-5/8" Single-Six between 188xxx and 428xxx, except for the Lightweights of course.

Thanks, gents. I thought it was wanky. Guess that's why they didn't show pics of the muzzle.
Does the correct Micro XR3 front sight clamp onto the original front sight with little set screws on the side? Would that be a factory installation?

Never. Modified after build by some owner. Seems an absurd amount of asking money for this item.........

Can someone post a photo of a factory Micro installation, please? Do we know what years were they shipped and on which models? Are they rare? Are they verifiable by letter, someday? What is the affect on the value of a single six with factory Micros? I am looking at a nice 1961 Magnum with a triangle shaped ramp front sight. Can't tell if it's pinned or sweated in.
Thanks in advance.

I have one that is #187757 convertible 4-5/8. That is pretty close to your 188xxx. Dr.C
