Rod:
Are you sure there is one cylinder each in LR and Mag.?
It was either 300022 or 300023 that had its Mag cylinder with a firing pin groove.... probably made prior to their decision to make the Mag. cylinder without the groove to prevent "jacket spitting".

Just looked... it is the #300023. It has a Mag. cylinder with a firing pin groove.
Wouldn't surprise me if 300006 has one cylinder like that. The #200006 Lightweight also came with two cylinders... one green martin hard coat cylinder and one LWSC steel cylinder.

Hello guys,

LWAC #200006 was not made. Serial number 6 was Hal Seagraves assigned "low number". Since #200006 did not exist, he was content to settle for the next best thing, number 206000, after all, it has four zeros and a number 6. The gun is all blue with a steel cylinder and an extra blue aluminum cylinder.

I bought the gun while I was in Southport in the 1980s. Sold it a few years later, then several years ago bought it back and it is still in my collection, it is pictured on page 176 of Ruger Pistols & Revolvers.

Regards, John
