bearcats

really like a fixed sight bearcat but can't stand a gun not shooting to point of aim,is a adj sight the only way to go? already have a sp101 with a barrel not indexed properly.

... or get closer to the target.
Seriously, try different, many different brands of ammo. start close, then "map" each at increasing ranges. How far from POA is your best load?
- much cheaper than gunsmithing the barrel/sight. but do pay attention to the crown.

Youll never make a bearcat into a 40-yard target gun. But you may get lucky with a 'best' load. Then buy many bricks of that one!

Took my one Bearcat out a number of times. It preferred Winchester Wildcat 22 LR. Even though I had two bricks, went out and bought a case of 5000. Filed the front sight down and had to tweek (bend) the front site to the right. At 7 yards, dead on, at 15 it opens up but it still a fun shooter. As was said earlier, won't be a 40 yard gun. I have other guns (Single Six's) that will hit at that range +.
