Being new here, to some folks, thought I'd show off one of my Rugers. This .45 Colt New Model Blackhawk is with me daily as my constant companion. Grips are by Patrick Grashorn, case hardened finish by Doug Turnbull. Steel grip frame and cam cut ejector rod housing with crescent head ejector rod head. Holster is No.1 Shuck by Doc Barranti:
Forgot to add this gun has the all steel rear sight by Gary Reeder, 'smith out in Arizona.
Also, after posting, I noticed that this is not my every day companion, but is an alternate. This .45 is actually the work horse:
