I tried to install a as birdshead I had laying around and had no luck, noticed two tabs on vertical backstrap , everything was ok but hammer wouldn't lock trigger and safety bar was very loose side to side, I will just look for a Wrangler with birdshead and let wife keep this one . Still love the gun , think Ruger hit a home run with these .

Just got info from Ruger that they are making them with a 7-1/2" barrel too.

Well, after the horrible December 2022 I had, I felt I deserved a new firearm. So I got a birds head 3 3/4" Wrangler in Cobalt with the holster. It's my 2nd Wrangler and I really like the birds head grip, fits me nicely. A plus is that the holster fits both of my guns.

Here it is with my Black Cherry Wrangler.
