KNR-5-10 Duplicate?

Post by Skydog »

Note the address on the bbl is on the bottom. Anyone know why Ruger would do this?

Yep, customers were complaining about the safety wording on the side of the barrel distracting from the looks of the firearm. Ruger decided to move it toward the bottom. Sure looks better in the lower location.

Neat "D" gun, 3 digit to boot! Good snag!

Yes, very nice snag!!
That's the first "D" gun I've heard of in that series.
With Ruger's process of lasering the serial numbers on their single actions and other series' today, not sure a "D" gun can exist in those any longer.
