New to me Speed Six

Post by 67stingray »

I recently acquired a 1974 Speed-Six, the previous owner took really good care of it. I've attached pics of it and it's brothers (1972 Security-Six and 1976 Police Service-Six). They all are blued with 4" barrels, I guess I'll have to start on the Stainless versions of them now.

(Sorry two of the pics decided to reorient themselves)

Thanks guys, you might be right on a display Bill, I've got a few GP's and SP's and Redhawk. Need to get the Super Redhawk and keep my head down adding to the collection.

That's a good looking trio of Sixes and yes we need more displays with all of the Ruger double actions (so I'm not the only one to get picked on by the Single Action guys :D )

That is a great looking group of Sixes! It might be the traditionalist in me, but I have always preferred blued revolvers over other finishes. That combination of blue with the wood grips is just gorgeous to me.
