Black & Grey Alaskan?

Post by Ruger8r »

I came across an Alaskan with a matte black frame and matte grey cylinder. Comes up as a 05303 and apparently it catalogues as a KSRH-2. Your thoughts please?

Ruger just shows a 05303 as an all stainless gun. Might have been Cerakoted or so other coating. Would love to see a picture of it.

That also looks a lot like coating to me.

In addition, a K in the model name basically stands for a stainless model.

That has probably been cerakoted.
There are some factory original black Alaskan's, but those have a different model number.
