I was really hoping that someone would post up a rifle to match it! I'm quite certain that someone here has one but am glad to be sharing things not seen before. I've got some other oddballs like that in the filing cabinets.

Bill Hamm has an Armamex .22 Pistol that was owned by Pedro De Siesta but that is as close as I can come to a Spanish Ruger. Now if there was a 10/22 rollmarked in Spanish that would really be something.

I believe from Workmans The Ruger 10/22 that this is the only manual printed for the 10/22 in another language. This is discussed on page 40 and that guns which had this manual as part of the package would have been sent to any number of Spanish speaking countries. The Roll markings would be in English and no different but the factory might letter it as a gun sent to such a place.

I have a couple of them somewhere. Also a 44 Carbine one in German. It would be hard to get anything from the factory where they were shipped. I have a couple of the Australian prototypes that have no roll marks other then the receiver.

Wow, thank you for sharing!! I truly am in awe of the rare guns like that which surface here. So, you know when those were shipped but how do you know that they were Australian bound and how did they make their way back here? I wonder how many rarities have been destroyed over there that we'll never know about.

I don't think they went anywhere. There is another set in OK and one at the factory all consecutive serial numbers.
