Canadian Centennial 10-22

Post by JAYDAWG »

Being a coin nerd along with my 10-22 addiction I have had this Canadian Centennial coin set for about 15 years, SO I figured I had better get the 10-22 to go with it!!
Workman's book says about 4000 Canadian's were made 1500 of the non checkered like this one the other 2500 being checkered stocks.
So, I guess I had better be on the look out for a checkered one now

Cheers,
JAY

Good going, those are pretty scarce. I love the Fingergroove sporter stock, best one Ruger ever made. JMHO

Glad you got it Jay. Did you get the box with it? I have had my pair since back in the 90's.
Good to hear from you today!

Hey, I think Canada made a $20 in gold for 1967 as well.

Seeing this post pop to the top, I realized I had not posted that I bought a checkered version of the Canadian Centennial to go along with the first one.
This one has been well cared for and basically is and looks new. A very nice addition for me.
Got it from the Don Rose auction of a founding ROCS member that Brass Frame/Lee posted here on the forum in mid July.
Thanks Lee!!
Check out the pics next to it's brother...

Cheers,
JAY

Jay those are beautiful! I can not even begin to offer you the proper amount of marbles to swap for them
