1V in .280

Post by Plus1moa »

I recently inherited a No.1-V in .280 Rem. It's NIB basically, have the recipet of sale to the first owner as well.
From what I remember being told about it, it's super rare, other than that I just have the pedigree info on it.
Anyone have any background info about the production of this type? It was shipped in Dec. 1982
Serial starts 132-

They are scarce.
Some barrels were marked with .280 Rem. and some marked "7mm Rem. Express or .280 Rem"., with the 2nd marking being scarcer.
