New RPR .22

Post by RoninPA »

Got me a . 22 RPR at the OGCA show. Tired of all black firearms so I gussied it up a bit.

The Cerakote is called BAE Green. And of course I will be using a Ruger Silent-SR to keep it quiet.

I'll show it off and let people shoot it at the East Coast Gathering in Oct at Contenders place.

Ron,
Good looking set up!
I love my suppressed 22's.
What ammo do you use? Subsonic?
Cheers,
JAY

That's a fine looking package! The Cerakote job resembles the new Davidsons exclusive which I found visually appealing. How does she shoot?

Just got it put all together yesterday and still need to boresight the scope and get it out. However, the weather up here is like crap (rain) and isn't getting any better until at least this weekend. We set the all time high for the month of July for rainfall, broke the record by 3+ inches.

Jay, I'll shoot several varieties to see what it likes and will also evaluate about 4 different varieties of subsonic but I really like the Federal subsonics.

Chuck, once I get it sighted in I'll post some pics.

I have a ER Shaw bull barrel 10-22 that I built that I need to get sighted in also. So much shooting to do, wish the weather would cooperate.

Ron,

That coating really dresses up the rifle. Looks real good.
