Mule Deer

Post by doccash »

I was out birding with my camera Sunday when this buck browsed through my setup. As usual the deer could care less about me and my camera out in the middle of 140 sections they have no fear of people. Occasionally a cowboy will shoot one to eat and usually a young tender one at that. It's fun to observe them and the other abundant wildlife acting naturally. Dr.CImage

Beautiful photograph and buck. Before cell phones and their high-speed cameras, I kept a small camera in my bag when in the woods and used it often. Sometimes it's nice to get the shot without taking a shot! Thanks for sharing.

This was taken with a 600mm lens at about 50 yards, he had been ten yards away and the camera wouldn't focus on him, he went down in a little draw and I got him when he came back into view....it's what I love to do . Thanks for looking. Dr.C
