I had a great conversation quite a few years back of that #18000 Bearcat with Mr. Somers. Turns out his dad was a big collector of Merwin & Hulbert revolvers and was also a good friend of WBR. The older Mr. Somers convinced WBR to do a couple inscribed Bearcats for his young sons. The other gun is #14000, inscribed to James' brother Robert. Both were milestone guns that were just sitting there so WBR used them to do the work. The whereabouts of 14000 is unknown today.
