Here's a sample of FACTORY Redhawk grips.

Seems most common to see "plain jane" ( sorry Jane ;) ) wood on Redhawk grips. However, here's proof that every so often you get something with a little figure to it!

Bill Lett jr is selling some NOS grips from leftovers of Lett Manufacturing on eBay. A couple of the Redhawks offerings look nice in the pics. Have some of his SBH grips that are very nice

There was a period about 1984 to 1986 where Ruger was using Goncalo Alves for their handgun grips. Looks like that's what you have there.
