Another new old guy.

Post by Notangorancho »

Greetings from New Mexico. I have owned a lot of Rugers thru the years, but the last one was willed to me by a very good friend. I didn't have any idea what it was until I found your forum. I did know ,of course that it was a Ruger No.1, didn't know that it was an African Adventure series Leopard. If it was fired, it was very little. I like the no.1 and I like 7x57s but I'm too old to start collecting them. So as soon as I can figure out how to do it I'll get this one up for sale. I'd like to get some idea of what a fair asking price might be in comparison to a standard no.1. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Mike

Welcome from Prescott, Rugerville AZ.
Your No.1 is no burden at all, it sounds likes classy deer & elk rifle !
Camp tape will protect it in the field, firing it will not hurt it! ;)

Welcome.
I lived in Roswell as a kid. Learned to shoot around then and hunted with my dad.

I lived in Roswell for about eight years. Now am in little Capitan 70 miles west. If you've been gone a while you wouldn't believe Roswell now.
