New member, lifetime Ruger fan

Post by Dyermountain »

The first pistol I ever shot was an Old Model Single Six, when I was around 6 or 7. Second pistol I shot was a Super Blackhawk 44 magnum when I was around 10.
Bought a 77 mark ii all weather 30-06 new at Walmart when I was 13 for $350 (money I earned but mom did the purchase) still have the 77, it has taken countless deer, elk, coyotes, antelope.
One of my CCW's is a GP100 44 special (that occasionally takes a cottontail) keep it loaded with lead free, California legal loads.
Recently procured a Single Seven.
Have an old model Bearcat and Single 6.

Rugers have always been part of my life, I'm sure glad this forum is here.

Glad to have you with us, your history with Rugers sounds familiar, it's more than just owning guns. You'll find a great group of very knowledgeable folks here.

Welcome to the best bunch of people around. Ruger is spoken fluently here and we have fun. The amount of information on anything Ruger here is amazing
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...

Welcome aboard from central PA. Lots of great Ruger owners here, ask any question(s) here, they WILL get answered. This is a forum where there are NO dumb questions. If you haven't though about it yet, give some thought about joining ROCS, we put out a great journal and feature many very interesting Rugers in the pages. Go to the ABOUT and JOIN pages to learn about us. Go to the EXHIBITS page and see some (no all though) of the places we get invited to to show our Rugers, be it one or many.

Welcome from another California shooter. Yes, if you're going to get into Ruger collecting join ROCS for great info.
