I recently picked up this Lipseys exclusive Gunsite Scout chambered in .450 Bushmaster for hog hunting. The plan is to take it to the range tomorrow to shoot a bit at 25, 50 and 100 meters. Me thinks that I'm going to need some sort of optic as I really don't care for the adjustable rear ring. It just sort of fades away when shouldered. May opt for a fixed low power optic or possibly a trijicon rmr depending on how she shoots. I grabbed two boxes of Hornady Black 250 grain and a box of Federal 300 grain. I don't want to meet the hog that this thing should be capable of taking down but doesn't. Always have the 10mm to back it up in a chest rig from Simply Rugged!
