Reloading the 6.5 Creedmoor & 6.5-284 Norma

Post by ElNumeroUno »

I have Ruger No.1 rifles in both these 6.5 calibers. Have had excellent accuracy using 140 grain Bergers in both. Just found a box of 140 grain Accubonds. Anyone have any experience with Accubonds?

Lee I have used Accubonds with great results in both Africa and here. I use them in my 257 bob, 30-06 and 375 H&H.

They all group very well and do the job on the other end.

Really like the Accubonds, Nosler is my preferred brand, partitions first (expensive as you know) followed by the accubonds.

Stick with the 130 and 140gr. Berger VLD. That is what I shoot with excellent accuracy and terminal performance.
