The plastic trigger assembly has only been out a few years and with a 243 serial number it was made years prior to the change. Do you know who the distributor was? Do you have the box and if so how is it marked?

Has anyone kept up with all the new laminated models since 2000? Years ago when Bill Ruger was still alive and in control he did not like the first laminated RB-Z and said that there would be no more. Then they made the Kittery to use up the last of the stocks and then the FBI and the list just keeps going. When I looked the other day on RUGER's web sited I think there were something like 64 differ distributor exclusive not counting the stainless target gun that was changed from brown to a black laminated stock.
